FIELD CLOSURE PROCEDURES
HOME GAMES:
If an announcement is made that our fields are
closed:
- Call your opponent immediately
so they don't have to travel here. Check if they have a turf
field available so you can play there.
- The first coach scheduled to
play at a field that day must go to the field to pay the
referee a $25 travel fee if he/she shows up.
AWAY GAMES
If the weather is suspect and you have an away game, first check
the "User Forum / Feedback" link at the bottom
of www.ncsanj.com - then
"NCSA Corner" where field closures are
announced. Either way, call your opponent to check.
REQUESTING FIELDS
A. First
learn the rules:
- Do not attempt to
schedule a game during the week, unless it is
exactly in your practice slot - at the field you
practice at.
- Do not create a gap
between games if other games are scheduled at that field.
- Do your research
before asking for a slot... make sure that the
only reason you're denied a request, is because
someone else beat you to it and it hasn't been posted
on the Web yet.
- Requests must be
submitted by Sunday evening to be effective that
coming week.
- The league will arrange
for referees.
B. Then determine availability:
Allendale town fields
- Red Barn, Multipurpose, Jr.
Football, Brookside, West Maple:
Other fields
- Guardian
Angel, Lions park, Hess, St. Luke's, Presentation, St. Joseph, Bogert:
